What We Covered
Understanding Prompts: We explained that prompting is simply about communicating effectively with AI. It's not a technical skill, but a language skill.
The RIPE Framework: We introduced the RIPE framework for creating effective prompts:
Role: Tell the AI who to be (e.g., "Be a friendly chef who loves Italian food")
Instructions: Give it a clear job (e.g., "Create tasty pasta recipes for beginners")
Parameters: Set guardrails (e.g., "Only use 5 ingredients that take no more than 30 minutes to cook")
Examples: Provide 2-3 good examples of what you want
Step Prompting: We discussed how to break down complex tasks into steps, allowing the AI to gather necessary information from the user.
Branch Prompting: We explored how to create different instruction paths based on user input.
Practical Application: We walked through creating and modifying prompts using Chipp's marketplace and template features.
Knowledge Sources: We demonstrated how to add external knowledge to your AI tools through URLs, YouTube videos, and file uploads.
Sharing and Monetization: We showed how to publish your AI tools to the marketplace, either for free or as a paid template.
